Bloomberry Secures Loan for Quezon IR

Philippine casino operator Bloomberry Resorts has announced that it has obtained a 10-year, PHP40 billion (US$767 million) loan to finance the construction of its planned integrated resort in Quezon City.

Philippine casino operator Bloomberry Resorts has announced that it has secured PHP40 billion (US$767 million) in loans to finance the development of its planned integrated resort in Quezon City.

According to Asia Gaming Brief, in a filing to the Philippine Stock Exchange the company said Sureste Properties and Bloomberry Resorts and Hotels signed the 10-year deal with a consortium of local lenders.

Bloomberry operates the Solaire Resort & Casino in Manila’s Entertainment City. The new IR will also operate under the Solaire brand and will primarily serve mass-market patrons in Manila’s most populous municipality, AGB reported. Construction is set to begin in mid-2019 with the resort expected to open in 2022.
