North American gaming company Bluberi Gaming Canada Inc. has announced the appointment of Andrew Burke as its chief executive officer, effective January 13.
Burke has been with gaming supplier AGS for 15 years, since before that supplier was acquired by equity group Alpine Investors in 2008, and has overseen that company’s slot division as it has evolved into a major force in the industry. He most recently was senior vice president of slot products for AGS, overseeing all aspects of the division’s commercial operations in the United States and Canada.
In his tenure at AGS, Burke was instrumental in the success of numerous acquisitions, including Colossal Gaming (C2 Gaming LLC) and Cadillac Jack (Amaya Americas Corporation). He also oversaw several significant product launches for the company, including the highly successful Orion family of games.
Burk’s appointment as CEO of Bluberi comes as that supplier prepares for its next phase of strategic growth. He succeeds Mike Starzynski, who guided the company to its current strong market position and July 2019 acquisition by funds managed by the Catalyst Capital Group Inc.
Moving forward, Burke’s immediate focus will be to build on Bluberi’s success by enhancing Bluberi’s product offering and improving the processes used to service its customers, while continuing to foster a thriving company culture and environment.
“Bluberi is at a prime point of growth, and the opportunity is boundless,” Burke said. “I am excited to work alongside our employees, partners and customers to transform Bluberi into a formidable gaming supplier led by unparalleled customer service and product innovation.”
Bluberi is a leading gaming company backed by more than 25 years of industry experience and a long history of developing high-performance products, paired with exceptional customer service across Class II, Class III and tribal gaming jurisdictions.
