BMM Contributing Free Training At South Africa Show

Attendees at South Africa’s Gambling Indaba trade show will have the opportunity to expand their knowledge in key areas such as industry certification, auditing and security courtesy of BMM Testlabs. The company is lending experts in operations and sales to lead training sessions at the November show free of charge.

BMM Testlabs is teaming up with Gambling Indaba to provide free training sessions for delegates to the popular South African trade exhibition and conference.

“BMM has operated a test lab in South Africa since 2005, and we have supported the growth of regulated gaming in the region throughout this time,” said Kirk White, the company’s executive vice president and general manager.

The sessions will cover the certification process, auditing, security, illegal gambling, bingo and sports betting with instruction from local BMM experts Penelope Futhi Ngcoya, who serves as director of operations, and Sales and Accounts Manager Tashie Moodley.

Gambling Indaba will be held November 22-24. Information is available at www.gamblingindaba.com

Later this month, BMM also will be sponsoring the National Center for Responsible Gaming’s Conference on Gambling and Addiction.

The annual conference, which is held in Las Vegas prior to the Global Gaming Expo, is widely recognized as a unique forum for the industry, health care providers, researchers and regulators to discuss the latest research on gambling disorders and responsible gaming.

NCRG Senior Research Director Christine Reilly said the organization “is immensely grateful to BMM Testlabs and the other gaming-related companies that support the conference. Their funding makes it possible for NCRG to deliver a high quality conference at rates affordable to academics and healthcare providers.”

The conference runs from September 27th through the 29th.
