Gaming testing company BMM Testlabs announced the expansion of its training and education program, the BMM Academy, in 2015.
The BMM Academy comprises a series of education and training programs that can be tailored to fit any small group or large organization, and be held at any location. Subjects range from “Independent Test Labs and their Responsibilities” through to “EGM Essentials” and “Class II Technical Standards,” and an in-depth series covering “Math Analysis,” “Electronic Signatures,” “Source Code” and more detailed areas of the testing and certification process.
“BMM is committed to the global gaming industry, and we are dedicated to ensuring that up-to-date, accurate and engaging training is available,” said Martin Storm, BMM’s president and CEO. “The BMM Academy fills this need, with customized training in the right place, at the right time, provided by long-time industry experts and engineers.
“BMM has provided many successful training courses over the last 12 months to both large and small groups across the world, including tribal gaming commissions in Oregon, Idaho and Oklahoma as well as regulators in South America. We have also held a number of educational sessions at our headquarters in Las Vegas, and would like to thank those regulators who trained with BMM as recently as this week, as well as during the last year.”
Travis Foley, executive vice president of operations for BMM Americas, added, “Training with experts, who work in the industry every day, is clearly the best way to stay engaged and up-to-date regarding the latest technology. Through the BMM Academy, BMM is helping to build knowledge and empower regulators to fully understand the gaming industry today, and specifically, the testing and certification process.”
The BMM Academy provides training and education at BMM’s facility in Las Vegas, at the client’s facility and at shows and events throughout the world. Training can be customized for each group or organization.
