Bolivia’s interim government has announced the appointment of Juan Carlos Antonio Abrego as the new director general of the Bolivian Gaming Control Authority (AJ Bolivia).
Acting Bolivian Economic Minister Jose Luis Parada said Abrego’s appointment would “deliver transparency to the technical implementation of systems and of suitable professionals regulating the Bolivian gambling.”
Abrego stated that he would support the development of new projects and enterprises that will contribute to the economic growth of the country and increase jobs.
“With the help of all colleagues we have to carry out an absolutely transparent task, that is our commitment,” he said. “There will be transparency in each and every one of the processes that are carried out in this institution. I want to thank the Minister of Economy and President Jeanine Añez for her trust.”
