Cashless gaming technology provider BoltBetz has secured boxing legend Mike Tyson as a strategic investor and promotional partner.
Tyson will work with BoltBetz to support casino launches across a range of markets. This will include promotional campaigns, personal appearances and digital media initiatives.
The partnership will coincide with the rollout of BoltBetz cashless gaming platform at select Terrible’s casino properties early next year. Terrible’s is a Nevada-based casino operator with over 300 locations and more than 2,700 gaming machines statewide.
BoltBetz’s proprietary platform enables players to load funds onto slot machines without cash. This, it said, offers casinos improved efficiency, security and customer experience.
BoltBetz ‘Setting a New Standard’
“I’ve always been drawn to people and ideas that simplify the way we experience things,” Tyson said. “That’s exactly what I see with BoltBetz.
“This technology is setting a new standard for how people engage with casinos. I’m proud to be part of the journey; not just as a partner, but as an investor as well.”
Space Jones, BoltBetz co-founder and director of product & design, described Tyson’s support as a “monumental” moment for the business.
“Mike’s global presence and reputation for boldness align perfectly with our mission to disrupt and modernize the casino floor,” Jones said. “His involvement as both an investor and promotional partner validates the strength of our technology and accelerates our growth strategy.”
