A Monmouth County New Jersey man, who wishes to remain anonymous, is credited with hitting the largest online jackpot for a slot machine in New Jersey.

He won an $84,300 jackpot on IGT’s “Monopoly Level Up Plus” slot. The jackpot is the largest won on an International Gaming Technology online game in New Jersey since online betting started in the state in November, casino officials said.

IGT provides slots for most of New Jersey’s online gaming sites including Borgata, PartyPoker, the Tropicana, the Golden Nugget, Ultimate Gaming, Virgin Casino and Betfair.

Meanwhile, the land-based operations at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa paid out a much higher jackpot recently.

Emil Ragone of Elizabeth walked away with $655,852.28 after a lucky spin on a penny Wizard of Oz slot machine, the casino announced.
