Bowling Coming To Harrah’s Cherokee

Construction has begun on a $13 million, 50,000 square foot bowling complex at Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort in Cherokee, North Carolina. The tribe and Tribal Casino Gaming Enterprise will split the cost of the venue, which will open in late 2017 and feature 24 lanes on two floors, a bar, arcade and dining areas.

The Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians recently broke ground on a million, 50,000 square foot bowling complex at Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort in Cherokee, North Carolina.

Eastern Band Principal Chief Patrick Lambert said, “We’ve all waited a long time for this day. There’s been a lot of people that have come before that have worked to get this day here. Today is a very important day for our tribe and our casino enterprise. Today, we break ground on a new facility, a new bowling center that will serve our people and our casino customers. This project has been a long time coming and it will be delivered completely debt-free.”

A joint venture between the tribe and Tribal Casino Gaming Enterprise, the bowling venue is expected to open late next year. Plans call for 24 bowling lanes on two floors, plus a bar, arcade and dining areas.
