There’s still plenty of opportunity in Macau, and British-based entertainment and leisure companies want to get in on the action, according to the Macau Daily News.
The News reports that Frances Moffett-Kouadio, commissioner of British trade and investment for both Macau and Hong Kong, says U.K. companies are eager to provide nongaming attractions in Macau’s casino resorts, all of which are looking to expand nongaming amenities.
“The pressure on the Macau government to diversify the economy is a huge opportunity for U.K. companies,” said the commissioner, who traveled to Macau last month with representatives of 18 British companies.
