The bwin.party board of directors has announced the appointment of Daniel Silvers as a non-executive director of the company.
The appointment is made under a relationship agreement entered into by bwin.party, Emerald Bay and Stinson Ridge, which was approved by shareholders in January, the company said in a press release.
Spring Owl Gibraltar Partners B became a party to the agreement in February as a result of acquiring 6.1 percent of bwin.party’s issued share capital from Emerald and Stinson. The acquisitions gave Spring owl the right to nominate a member of the bwin.paty board of directors and the company nominated Daniel Silvers, the release said.
Silvers is President of Spring Owl Asset Management (formerly Ader Investment Management) and also serves on the board of directors of India Hospitality.
Since acquiring bwin.party stock, Ader has sought to make several appointments to the bwin.party board and strongly criticized its former board for the company’s under-performance.
