Caesars Named Top Corporate Citizen

Caesars Entertainment recently was ranked number 72 in Corporate Responsibility Magazine's "100 Best Corporate Citizens" list for 2019. The selection was based on the company's social and governance activities and especially its emphasis on environmental issues, including continued commitment to environmental sustainability progress, including science-based targets to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Corporate Responsibility Magazine recently named Caesars Entertainment Corporation among its “100 Best Corporate Citizens” list for 2019. Ranked number 72, Caesars selection was based on its environmental, social and governance performance.

Caesars’ industry leadership was especially noted in the magazine’s environmental categories evaluation, ranking number 15 on environment and number 4 on climate change. The magazine called out Caesars’ continued commitment to environmental sustainability progress, including science-based targets to reduce greenhouse gas emissions throughout its supply chain.

CR Magazine also noted Caesars’ PEOPLE PLANET PLAY framework, featuring 11 corporate responsibility priorities and their impacts on people, the community, society and the environment.

CR Magazine’s “100 Best Corporate Citizens” list ranks companies in the Russell 1000 Index and documents 260 ESG data points of disclosure and performance measures. Data is gathered from publicly available information in the categories of the environment, climate change, employee relations, human rights, governance, finance and stakeholders and society.
