Caesars Names Ottolenghi CIO

Caesars Entertainment has named former Las Vegas Sands executive Les Ottolenghi as executive vice president and chief information officer.

Caesars Entertainment Corporation has appointed Les Ottolenghi to the role of executive vice president and chief information officer, responsible for shaping and implementing Caesars’ technology agenda across all company platforms.

He will report directly to President and Chief Executive Officer Mark Frissora.

Ottolenghi, a top technology executive, was formerly chief information and innovation officer for Las Vegas Sands Corporation. In addition to his role at Sands, Ottolenghi held senior level IT positions with global hospitality brands Carlson Wagonlit Travel and Holiday Inn Worldwide. He was also the founder and CEO of Plat4m Technologies and Intent Media Works, in addition to serving as CEO of Agentware.

“Ottolenghi is a proven leader in the gaming and hospitality sectors who has a proven ability to create and implement transformative initiatives,” Frissora said. “I am confident that Ottolenghi’s skills will benefit our customers and our company as we ensure our IT capabilities exceed our business needs.”

Ottolenghi has received numerous awards and accolades throughout his career, having been named a Top 60 CIO by Execurank, nominated for CIO of the Year and in 2015 by CIO Magazine. Additionally, he served as an adjunct professor at Emory University lecturing on IT innovation and entrepreneurship.
