Caesars Sportsbook recently took its Nevada mobile app offline momentarily in order to migrate users to the company’s new and improved platform that has already been rolled out in other states.
The new app will be referred to as Caesars Nevada Sportsbook. According to the company, Nevada accounts were temporarily unaccessible during the switch but all funds and pending bets were left untouched. Players also had the ability to visit any retail Caesars locations to place bets or check account statuses.
“Nevada is an important place for Caesars Entertainment and remains at the heart of everything we do for our customers here,” Eric Hession, president of Caesars Digital, said in a statement to the Las Vegas Review-Journal. “We’re thrilled to bring our best sports wagering platform to our devoted sports bettors in this market and look forward to providing them with a sports wagering experience that treats them like royalty.
“We’d like to thank the Nevada Gaming Control Board for making this possible and we thank our customers for their patience as we complete the work to get them back in the game with our updated app,” Hession added.
The new platform includes new bets for Nevada players, such as same-game parlays, or bets with multiple legs tied to a single event, and other specialty promotions through Caesars Rewards.
