California Card Club to Open Boutique Hotel

The Bicycle Hotel & Casino near Los Angeles plans to open a boutique hotel on December 1. This will make the facility into a full-service resort, says the company.

California’s Bicycle Hotel & Casino in Bell Gardens, Los Angeles County, has announced that it will open a million seven-story boutique hotel on December 1.

CEO Hashem Minaiy declared last week, “With the addition of the hotel, the Bicycle Hotel & Casino is now a full-service, multi-sensory gaming and resort destination for Los Angeles and all of Southern California.” He added, “Our vision was to design a sophisticated and luxurious hotel property; an urban retreat which welcomes guests locally, nationally and internationally.”

Robert Carter, president of Carter Management Group, a general partner of the casino called the hotel, “a true four-star experience featuring modern guest rooms, lavish suites, a resort-style pool with cabanas, a tranquility spa and more. It’s a dream fully realized, a perfect complement to the casino, and we can’t wait to share it with our guests.”

The 99-room hotel, which will include 29 luxury suites, is being built by luxury general contractor R.D. Olson Construction and designed by Lee & Sakahara Architects and Hager Design International. It will include the Bike Brewery, a spa and elevated outdoor pool with private cabanas. The hotel, which is ten miles from downtown Los Angeles, will also include restaurants, a coffee house, gift shop, fitness center, events center and banquet hall.

The indoor décor and design will interweave the bicycle theme of overlapping circles throughout the hotel.
