Southern California’s Morongo Casino Resort and Spa has launched cashless wagering, the first tribal casino to do so. It has partnered with Marker Trax, and will use the Konami Gaming Synkros management system to offer cashless slot markers.
It will offer a convenient and secure way for guests to apply for and be approved for a digital market, within minutes and electronically.
The technology has been used in Nevada for some time now.
Those enrolled in the wagering account will be able to use the “Marker Trax” credit line to play on any machine on the property. The patented cashless technology enables casinos to digitally and securely secure funds. Guests must first enroll in the casino’s loyalty program.
Richard St Jean, chief operating officer of Morongo Casino, commented, “We’re excited to be working with Marker Trax to introduce cashless wagering markers to our guests.”
He added, “The convenience and ease of Marker Trax will be a huge bonus for our players, and underscores Morongo’s history of embracing state-of-the-art technology to enhance our gaming experience. With Marker Trax, our guests can be approved for a gaming line and at the machine in minutes.”
Marker Trax COO Charlie Skinner added, “We are looking forward to a successful launch at Morongo. The technology behind the product is truly unmatched by any other product in the casino industry today, and we could not be happier to be launching with the team at Morongo.”
