The Chicken Ranch Casino Resort will open in Jamestown, California, near Yosemite National Park, on Monday, July 15, officials announced. A grand opening celebration is planned for the fall.
Owned by the Chicken Ranch Rancheria of Me-Wuk Indians, the $325 million, 9-story Chicken Ranch will replace the existing venue which opened as a bingo hall in 1985. The 100,000-square- foot casino will offer 900 slots and 12-14 table games. The 5-story hotel will feature 175 luxury guest rooms and 22 suites, including the Henhouse Suite, with a private patio, and the Mother Plucker Suite, with a pool table and a balcony overlooking the pool. Dining options will include the upscale Perch Rooftop Dining, Sports Bar + Kitchen, Quill Bar and Trailblazer Coffee Company.
Other amenities will include a day spa, rooftop pool, gift shop, tribal cultural center, family friendly arcade and 12,000-square-foot conference and event center.
Aztec printed rugs and bold artwork throughout the venue will merge contemporary design with the spirit of Chicken Ranch, according to officials.
