California Sheriff Reappointed to Lottery Commission

Alameda County Sheriff Gregory Ahern has been given another term on the California Lottery Commission.

Governor Jerry Brown has appointed Alameda County Sheriff Gregory Ahern to another term on the California Lottery Commission.

Sheriff Ahern has served on the panel since 2012. He is a graduate of Saint Mary’s College and worked his way up the ranks in the Alameda County Sheriff’s Department until being elected Sheriff in 2006. The appointment requires the confirmation of the legislature.
