Aristocrat Leisure has named Julie Cameron-Doe as the group’s new chief financial officer, subject to regulatory approval. Cameron-Doe joined the Australian slot machine manufacturer in August 2013 and most recently served as group general manager – finance. She brings to her new position 20 years of experience in senior finance roles in media, publishing and e-commerce in Europe and Australia.
Cameron-Doe will succeed Toni Korsanos, who will depart the company on March 31, 2018. Aristocrat said Korsanos did not want to relocate to North America, as forecast under a planned corporate realignment. However, a recent filing with the Australian Securities Exchange stated, “Ms. Cameron-Doe will relocate to North America in the new year, consistent with the company’s interests and the recent relocation of Aristocrat’s Chief Executive and Managing Director Trevor Croker.”
Croker said, “Julie is a strategic and results-driven finance leader who has made a significant impact during her four years heading the group finance function at Aristocrat, including contributing to successful mergers and acquisitions and managing critical functions and enterprise-wide projects.”
Korsanos will join Australian casino operator Crown Resorts Ltd as a non-executive director.
