A new restaurant, Canal Street Café, will open Monday, July 18 at the Potawatomi Hotel & Casino in Milwaukee, replacing the shuttered Locavore, which opened in August 2014 and was named a Top 30 restaurant in 2015. Chief Operating Officer Rodney Ferguson said, “We are listening to our guests and feel that this restaurant will better serve the tastes of our guests. We are confident the new restaurant will exceed our guests’ wants and needs and provide the menu and service they are looking for.”
