Casino Cosmpol, the Swedish casino operator and subsidiary of state-owned gaming operator AB Svenska Spel, has signed an agreement with Playtech subsidiary Intelligent Gaming Systems on procurement and installation of a new casino management system suite for Casino Cosmopol’s four casinos.
The system will manage data and player marketing for slots, poker, table games, visitor registration, business intelligence and cash desk capabilities.
“As a public-sector organization, Casino Cosmopol applies the Public Procurement Act, and our major investments are subject to a competitive procurement process,” said Casino Cosmopol CEO Per Jaldung. “We specified detailed requirements for a system to connect our gaming, business and compliance operations, with a focus on AML and GDPR.” Jaldung said IGS was able to meet the company’s requirements most effectively.
The agreement provides a framework for several phases of implementation of the new suite of systems by next year.
“This success underlines our position as the leading systems supplier to the European casino industry,” said Martin Sykes, managing director of IGS. “Casino Cosmopol is one of the world’s most responsible gaming operators and is at the leading edge of initiatives such as AML and GDPR. The project includes a number of innovative developments which will underpin our position as the world leaders in AML and responsible gaming.”
