JCM Global has signed a new deal to supply its iVIZION bill validator and GEN2 U thermal printer to Germany’s Gauselmann Group for its new cruise-liner casino operations.
Gauselmann recently obtained its first licenses to operate casinos on cruise liners, and under the brand name Casino Merkur Mare. The company is will operate four casinos on four ships from the company Pullmanntur Cruceros. The first casino just opened on the cruise-liner MV Zenith, and each of the casino’s 60 slot games is equipped with JCM’s iVIZION and GEN2 U.
JCM has a long-term relationship with Gauselmann. “We chose JCM for its long outstanding reputation in the gaming industry,” said Kathy Schneider, head of casino operations for Casino Merkur Mare. “Noticing that JCM always wants to evolve and is offering innovative solutions for the casino operations, we are excited to monitor this progress and to have those solutions soon in our own operations.”
