The Twin River Tiverton Casino Hotel has paid the town of Tiverton, Rhode Island almost $1 million since it opened last September.
Rhode Island Department of Revenue spokesman Paul Grimaldi told the Providence Journal “The casino is doing well and certainly meeting expectations.” According to the town treasurer the city has deposited $972,076 in its general fund so far.
