Developer Hennepin Realty Holdings has filed plans with the city of Niagara Falls, New York to build a hotel, residential and casino complex taller than anything else in the city, BlogTo reported June 8.
The two 58-story towers would be located where the existing 21-story Oakes Hotel is now—directly overlooking the falls. After demolition, the land would host a hotel, residential opportunities, casino, offices and banquet facilities.
The towers would have 1,140 suites and 126 residential units, restaurants, and gaming facilities, and a skybridge. It would, as planned, outrise the Hilton Niagara Falls North Tower. But it might not keep the title of tallest building that long since several other projects in the planning stages may vie for that distinction.
These include a 77-story tower, a 72-story tower, and other projects with 56 floors, and 61 and 60 floors.
