Casino Technology Receives Romania iGaming License

Casino Technology, through its interactive division, has been granted a Class II license to provide online gaming content for the regulated market in Romania.

Bulgarian slot supplier Casino Technology announce that it has been granted Class II game license for online game content in Romania expanding its presence on the regulated market in the country. The license, approved by the Romanian National Gambling Office (ONJN), will enable the Casino Technology Interactive division to supply its broad portfolio of content to the customers there.

“We have very strong positions on the land-based sector in Romania for years, and now we are excited to provide the players with our game content online as well,” said Rossi McKee, vice president of Casino Technology.

Under the license, Casino Technology Interactive will provide game content from the Remote Game Server Elephant, part of the unique system known as the “Big 5.” The content consists of titles that are proven leaders, and are the most played on the land-based market in Romania. The games are already live and available at circus.ro.

“After the granting of the license, the company is in the process of securing deals with our land-based partners,” said Stefan Enchev, head of business development for Casino Technology, “so they could rely on us in the process of synergy and empowering the seamless multi-channel gaming solution delivery.”
