Catawbas Add 500 Games At North Carolina Casino

The Rock Hill, South Carolina-based Catawba Nation recently added 500 gaming machines at its Two Kings Casino Resort in Kings Mountain, North Carolina, doubling the number of machines to 954 traditional slots and 46 positions at four electronic table game pods. The new electronic games include blackjack, roulette, craps and baccarat. The casino, which opened July 1, also now offers a high-limit room. Officials said beer and wine service will start soon.

Catawba Nation Gaming Authority President Mike Ulizio said, “Our patrons can now play their favorite table games, all from the comfort of one seat.”

The new games are located in a new pre-fab building attached to the original modular pre-launch facility. It’s the first phase of the $273 million permanent Two Kings Casino Resort. Tribal officials said they will announce a timetable for the 60,000-square-foot project “at a later date.”

Ulizio said the expansion created 30 new jobs.
