Catena Media will acquire Lineups.com for $39.6 million. Lineups.com is versed in analytics, betting predictions, and providing starting line-ups and rosters for major U.S. sports leagues.
For the 12 months ending April 30, 2021, Lineups.com reported $7.5 million in sales. First quarter sales for 2021 represent 10 percent of Catena’s overall revenue, according to iGaming Business.
Lineups founder, Sam Shefrin, will stay on as a consultant to Catena.
“The acquisition of Lineups.com strengthens Catena Media’s leading position in the growing U.S. betting market with a complementary product that fits perfectly into our existing U.S. portfolio,” Catena chief executive Michael Daly said. “It gives us a second, even stronger, national sports betting affiliation site, alongside thelines.com. This will allow us to capture more market share across North America.”
Catena revenue for the first quarter of this year could be as high as $48.6 million.
