Swedish-based Catena Media named Erik Edeen as interim CFO, replacing Peter Messner. He begins his duties May 22, which will be a handover period before Messner leaves in June, according to a release by the company.

This is Edeen’s second time at that job. The first time was 2019-2020. He has 16 years in financial management with both private and public corporations.

Edeen is a graduate of Uppsala University.

Catena Media CEO, Michael Daly said in a statement: “I’m excited to welcome Erik as our interim CFO. His long professional career and past experience of Catena Media will make him a valuable member of the executive management team.”

Edeen rejoins the company as Catena is exploring possible divestment and sales options.
