Colorado Springs-based Century Casinos Incorporated recently debuted new VIP and high-limit rooms at the Century Casino and Hotel Edmonton in Alberta.
The casino has 777 slots and 35 table games, but is undergoing a $2 million upgrade that includes a recently completed poker room, in addition to the VIP and high-limit rooms.
The casino now offers four bars, Yuk Yuk’s Comedy Club, a showroom, restaurant, and a banquet room, 26 boutique hotel rooms, and a heated underground garage for up to 300 cars.
Additional renovation plans include expanding the casino to make room for more slots, and opening a bar on the gaming floor.
Construction is slated to conclude by the end of September.
Meanwhile, Century Casinos announced a month-long promotion providing free food and beverages, while giving patrons a taste of the new upscale gaming atmosphere and the improved Century Casino and Hotel Edmonton.
The casino also will give away $888 every 30 minutes, with a final, $8,888 grand prize to be given away at the end of the day on September 9.
Century Casino also operates hotel casinos in Calgary, and Cripple Creek and Central City, Colorado. ‘
