Century Gaming Acquires Rival Route

Montana route operator Century Gaming Technologies has acquired the assets of longtime Montana gaming route American Music Company.

Century Gaming Technologies (CGT), Montana’s largest distributed gaming route operator, announced the acquisition of American Music Co.’s (AMC) gaming route assets. AMC was a pioneer in Montana route operations since its inception in the 1980s, operating primarily in north-central Montana.

The acquisition included 61 location customers with over 700 gaming machines in operation. “We are very pleased to welcome AMC’s customers to our existing operations in Great Falls and Helena,” said Steven Arntzen, CGT’s president and CEO. “AMC was a family-owned and operated business that had deep roots in Montana gaming. Selecting CGT as their successor as they retire from the business is truly a compliment.”

This purchase boosts CGT’s machine placements in Montana to nearly 5,000 devices located in over 400 licensed locations. “It is not just about the size of our distributed gaming route that is most important to us,” Arntzen said. “What matters is knowing that we have earned the trust and respect of our customers to get us to this point. We plan to do everything it takes to continue to build on this solid base for additional growth and development.”
