Caesars Entertainment has named Erin Chamberlin, vice president and general manager of Planet Hollywood Casino & Resort in Las Vegas since March 2014, as the new vice president and general manager of the 1,700-employee Horseshoe Casino Baltimore.
Chamberlin replaces Chad Barnhill, who will head the current Horseshoe Cincinnati for Rock Gaming, which is rebranding the casino after buying out Caesars’ equity. Barnhill opened the $442 million Horseshoe in August 2014.
Chamberlin has been with Caesars Entertainment 12 years. Prior to taking the helm at Planet Hollywood, she was vice president and assistant general manager of Horseshoe Hammond for three years, and was a marketing vice president for Caesars and Bally’s in Atlantic City.
“I’m thrilled to be joining the Horseshoe Baltimore team and look forward to building on the many successes the casino has achieved in its first 15 months,” Chamberlin said in a statement. “Having worked at premier resorts around the country, including in Las Vegas and Atlantic City, it’s clear to me that Horseshoe Baltimore has enormous potential to continue the growth it has enjoyed to date.”
Chamberlin will join the Baltimore casino in December, and will oversee the rebranding of that property for Rock Gaming.
