Chan Named Paradise Entertainment Finance Chief

The former chief financial officer at Imperial Pacific Holdings, Chan Kin Man recently was named chief financial officer and company secretary at casino equipment supplier Paradise Entertainment. Chan has 20 years experience in accounting and finance to his new role. He also held several positions at Macau Legend Development.

Chan Kin Man has been named chief financial officer and company secretary at casino equipment supplier Paradise Entertainment Limited, which manufactures gaming equipment under the LT Game brand. With 20 years of accounting and finance experience, Chan formerly was chief financial officer at casino developer Imperial Pacific Holdings Limited, which holds the license to operate a casino on Saipan in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, a U.S. jurisdiction. Before that, he was executive vice president, chief financial officer and company secretary of Macau Legend Development Limited, a casino services firm.

Chan also has served as the deputy financial controller at Hong Kong-listed Lai Sun Development Company Limited and at eSun Holdings Limited.

Chan replaces Stella Ho who resigned for personal reasons.

“Mr. Chan is experienced in accounting, financial advisory and management in the gaming and hospitality sectors,” Paradise Entertainment stated in a recent filing.

On December 3, 2016, after trading hours, Paradise Entertainment warned that it might record a “substantial loss” for the year ending December 31, 2016. The company recorded a $19.2 million loss for the year ending December 31, 2015.
