Chickasaw Going Social

Oklahoma’s Chickasaw Nation is expanding into the social gaming space in partnership with software developer GAN. The platform, which will integrate with the tribe’s 20-casino customer loyalty program, is slated to debut later this year.

The Chickasaw Nation has contracted with B2B software developer and supplier GAN to provide the tribal gaming giant with a social casino platform.

The deal has landed GAN, formerly known as GameAccount Network, its largest U.S. customer to date. The Chickasaw own 20 gaming venues in Oklahoma principally serving the Oklahoma and the Dallas and greater north Texas markets.

The site will be developed on GAN’s proprietary Simulated Gaming platform, which is designed specifically for U.S. land-based operators and will integrate with the tribe’s own on-property customer rewards program.

“By combining traditional casino marketing with a multimillion-dollar digital marketing commitment, we believe the Chickasaw Nation will quickly secure significant market share online in the region already well served by their land-based gaming enterprise,” said GAN Chief Executive Dermot Smurfit.

The platform is scheduled to debut later this year.
