Chile Gaming Rivals to Merge

Two Chile gaming rivals will reportedly merge, according to Bloomberg Law. Together Enjoy and Sun Dreams will form the largest gaming company in the South American market.

Chile Gaming Rivals to Merge

Chile gaming group Enjoy and its rival Sun Dreams have reached a merger agreement according to Bloomberg Law, which reports seeing the documents from Enjoy’s creditors and shareholders.

The documents were sent to Chile’s Commission for the Financial Market.

According to the papers Enjoy and Sun Dreams have already hired an investment bank to assist in the merger. Enjoy operates casinos in Antofagasta, Coquimbo, Vina del Mar, Rinconada, Santa Cruz, Pucon in Chile and Mendoza in Argentina.

Sun Dreams is the largest casino operator in Latin America, with casinos in Chile: Iquique, San Francisco de Mostazal, Temuco, Valdivia, Coyhaique and Punta Arenas; eight casino in Lima, Peru; two in Columbia, two in Panama, and one in Mendoza, Argentina.

A combined company would control 76 percent of the Latin American casino market.
