Chile’s Ovalle Casino Resort is holding a formal opening of the US million property on September 4.
The country’s newest gaming venue, located in the central Coquimbo region, features 230 slot machines, 13 table games and 60 bingo seats. A 78-room four-star hotel is slated to open next March along with four restaurants, an open-air theater, a museum, a spa and an observatory.
At full build-out it will employ more than 1,500 people, said the developers, Argentina’s Boldt group and Grupo Peralada of Spain.
