Circa Resort & Casino, the first new ground-up gaming development in Downtown Las Vegas in decades, is scheduled to debut October 28.
The resort, located at Fremont and Main streets, formerly the site of the Las Vegas Club, won’t open with its 30-story hotel tower, whose completion has been slowed by the Covid-19 pandemic. But it will feature a casino on two levels𑁋1,350 machine games and 49 table games𑁋a sportsbook capable of accommodating 1,000 patrons, an entertainment theater, a pool, restaurants and bars.
The 777-room hotel will open in December.
“Sometimes life throws you curveballs, and 2020 has been an unpredictable year for the entire world,” said developer Derek Stevens, who also owns the Golden Gate and the D Las Vegas on Fremont Street.
Circa is expected to employ around 1,000 people.
