Cirsa Acquires Novomatic Peru Casino Subsidiary

Spanish casino operator Cirsa has acquired Novomatic Group subsidiary Admiral Peru, assuming ownership of 17 Admiral slot operations in the country.

Spain-based multinational casino operator Cirsa has acquired 100 percent of Novomatic Group subsidiary Admiral Peru, which operates 17 slot locations in Peru under the Admiral brand.

The agreement, which concluded on July 1, saw Cirsa subsidiaries Gaming and Services S.A.C. and Cirsa International Gaming Corporation S.A acquire all of the shares in Inmobiliaria Rapid and Sierra Machines. Cirsa was advised by Torres y Torres Lara Abogados. Admiral was represented by Estudio Muñiz, Ramírez, Pérez-Taiman & Olaya Abogados and a team of company advisers.

Muñiz said the move is part of Novomatic’s strategy to focus activities on the commercialization of gaming machines within the Peruvian market.
