Clark, Litzau Promoted At Shooting Star

John "Bomber" Clark recently was promoted to human resources director and Gary Litzau was named marketing director at Shooting Star Casino, Hotel and Event Center in Mahnomen, Minnesota. Both are lifelong members of the White Earth Nation, which owns the facility.

Shooting Star Casino, Hotel and Event Center in Mahnomen, Minnesota recently promoted John “Bomber” Clark to human resources director and Gary Litzau was named marketing director. Both are members of the White Earth Nation, owners of the property.

Clark has served as Shooting Star Casino’s human resources training manager since 2008, where he was responsible for implementing, coordinating and presenting the training and development program for all associates, along with also overseeing casino trainers and departmental training areas. Prior to that he taught for 34 years in the Waubun-Ogema-White Earth public school district. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Education from Bemidji State University.

With more than 20 years of professional experience in the Indian gaming industry, Litzau was one of the first casino hosts in Minnesota. He joined Shooting Star Casino in 1999 has overseen casino promotions, group tours, player development, revenue projection and entertainment, as well as supervising Shooting Star’s Star Rewards Player’s Club.
