Codere Online debuted on the Nasdaq stock exchange on December 2, following its merger with SPAC DD3 Acquisition Corp. II, making it the first listed gaming firm for the Latin American market.

It is listed on stock exchange as CDRO and CDROW.

The company is counting on raising about $116 million, which will be used to finance its expansion in the Latin American online betting market.

Moshe Edree, Codere Online chief executive officer, commented, “We have an ambitious expansion plan ahead of our online sports betting and gaming business in Latin America, and the closure of this operation provides us with the resources to continue it.” He added, “We are very excited to have been invited to ring the opening bell at Nasdaq, in an event that highlights months of hard work and crystallizes the strength of our project.”

The merger of Codere Online with the SPAC was agreed to by Codere’s creditors as part of corporate structuring that included liquidating the Bolsa Madrid group.
