Stockholm-based Codeta.com, a leader in live internet table gambling, has hired former Tain CEO Patrik Svensson as chief technology officer.
In the newly created position Svensson will be responsible for taking Codeta’s desktop and mobile platforms to the next level, the company said, using tools such as Google Machine Learning and the Facebook front-end platform, React.js to enhance the live dealer playing experience and advance the company’s expansion in Europe and internationally.
An industry veteran with almost 15 years’ experience in online gambling and related technologies, Svensson founded the popular Scandinavian bingo site Bertil Bingo and held the top job at platform and content provider Tain since 2003.
“We have fiercely ambitious plans for our brand and proposition, but remain focused on delivering a world-class UX to our customers both old and new. Patrik will be key to achieving this, as well as leading us into new markets and regions,” said Codeta founder and CEO Edward Ihre.
Codeta, which is available on desktop and Android and iOS mobile and tablet devices, offers a variety of live dealer games, including blackjack and roulette from the likes of NetEnt, Evolution Gaming and Authentic Gaming. The games are streamed from dedicated studios and also from land-based casino floors worldwide. The platform also operates machine games from NetEnt, Play’N’Go, Aristocrat, Novomatic NYX, Microgaming and others.
