John Coleman has been named chief executive officer of Isle of Man-based online gaming company Microgaming.
He replaces CEO Roger Raatgever and moves up from his former position as chief financial officer. Raatgever will become executive chairman of Microgaming Software Systems, which is now renamed as Apricot Investments. He served as Microgaming CEO for 17 years.
A key figure in Microgaming’s growth in recent years, incoming CEO Coleman said: “I am honored to be leading Microgaming,” Coleman said in a press release. “This is a momentous time for the business, as we face exciting new opportunities in the years ahead.”
