Covid Shuts Down 2021 Phil-Asian Gaming Expo

Organizers of the Phil-Asian Gaming Expo (PAGE) have canceled this year’s show, previously scheduled to take place at Manila’s SMX Convention Centre from 29 to 31 July 2021.

The news comes as the Philippines faces rising numbers of Covid-19 and renewed restrictions covering Metro Manila.

“The coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic has meant that it is now vital to limit social contact and avoid gathering,” a PAGE representative said.

“For that reason, we have made the difficult decision to cancel PAGE 2020/2021. While we know this is disappointing, we hope you can understand the steps we are taking to help keep our staff and attendees safe.”

PAGE was held for the first and as of today only time in 2019, but has since been cancelled twice as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. It remains unclear if the show will return in 2022.
