Creek Casino to Get $65M Upgrade

The Creek Casino Montgomery, Alabama is planning a $65 million upgrade of the property that will include a new hotel, a new event center and three new restaurants. One hundred new jobs will be added at the property.

The Poarch Band of Creek Indians, which owns casinos in Alabama and racetracks in Alabama and Florida, will invest million to improve its Creek Casino in Montgomery, Alabama, reported the Montgomery Advertiser.??

“I am most pleased about the new jobs in the greater Montgomery area created by our partnership with Beale Street Blues Company,” said Jay Dorris, CEO and president of the PCI Gaming Authority.??

The project, which will be completed in stages through early 2016, will add a 119-room, five-story hotel and a new gaming floor with more than 2,100 electronic bingo machines.
