Cripple Creek Casino Hotel Moves Forward

Triple Crown Casinos is moving forward in obtaining regulatory approval for beginning construction of its 101-room boutique hotel in Cripple Creek, Colorado.

Triple Crown is one of several casinos moving forward with expansions that could, when completed in a few years, more than double the number of hotel rooms in the city, which is one of the state’s three casino towns.

At its last meeting the Cripple Creek City Council approved a development plan and master license agreement for the Midnight Rose Hotel. This gives Triple Crown until November 30, 2024 to complete the project. The project received a height variance, allowing for a seven story hotel.

The project was endorsed last winter by the Historic Preservation Commission.
