David Vialpando Named Gaming Regulator of the Year

OnCourse Learning Director of Gaming Programs David Vialpando was named one of two 2017 Gaming Regulators of the Year—Indian Country by the International Masters of Gaming Law. Chairman of the California-based Santa Ysabel Tribal Gaming Commission, Vialpando joined OnCourse Learning in early 2017.

The International Masters of Gaming Law recently named OnCourse Learning Director of Gaming Programs David Vialpando one of two 2017 Gaming Regulators of the Year—Indian Country. The award was presented during the 2017 Global Gaming Expo in Las Vegas.

IMGL President Michael E. Zatezalo said in a letter to Vialpando, who also is chairman of the California-based Santa Ysabel Tribal Gaming Commission, “Your work in promoting tribal regulations for new and innovative gaming products for tribal casinos, as well as being a frequent author and panelist on gaming issues, is in keeping with the IMGL’s mission of ‘advancing gaming through education.’”

Vialpando joined OnCourse Learning in early 2017. He oversees leading-edge product development for gaming operations and compliance education, and helps to create educational content that addresses the challenges facing contemporary gaming professionals.

Terry Hale, chief gaming regulator of the Seminole Nation Gaming Authority of Oklahoma, also was named a 2017 Gaming Regulator of the Year – Indian Country.
