DC Comics has registered a number of its household-name superhero characters as trademarks for gambling machines, according to a report on the Bleeding Cool News website.
The Dark Knight, Green Lantern, The Flash, Man Of Steel and Wonder Woman have all had trademark registrations for computer games and other entertainment services, as well as gaming machines—namely, devices which accept a wager; and reconfigurable casino and lottery gaming equipment, referring to operational gaming machines and computer games software sold as a unit.
