Deal Brings Betsson to U.S. iGaming Market

Betsson will enter the online sports betting market in the U.S. in the first half of next year, thanks to a deal with Dostal Alley Casino in Colorado.

The partnership runs for 10 years, according to Gambling Insider.

“I am very excited to reach this milestone, further expanding Betsson’s global reach by entering a new continent, “said Pontus Lindwall, CEO and president of Betsson AB.

Last year, Betsson struggled in Europe, according to Gambling Insider. The operator’s full-year revenue for 2019 was SEK 5.16 billion (US$ 556.1 million), a five percent decline. The company blamed the performance on difficulties in Sweden after the market’s re-regulation in January 2019.
