Delaware Doubles iGaming Revenue

Owing largely to the industry shutdowns due to the Covid-19 virus, iGaming revenue in Delaware more than doubled year-on-year in 2020, to $8.4 million.

As shown in other states, revenues from online gaming more than doubled in Delaware last year, fueled by demand after the state’s three casinos shut down amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

Delaware Park’s online casino led the charge, earning $3.2 million for the year, up 121.7 percent over 2019. Dover Downs matched the total, coming in only $15,000 under Delaware Park for a 127.1 percent increase. Harrington Raceway earned $2 million

Delaware’s iGaming revenues were $8.4 million for the year, an increase of some 133.3 percent over 2019. Players wagered $227.7 million, up 78.8 percent year-on-year.
