Delaware iGaming Bottoms Out

Delaware reported revenues from internet gaming in June that were the lowest since online gaming in the state was launched in November 2013.

Online gaming sponsored by the three racinos in Delaware sunk to new lows last month, with the lowest reported revenue since iGaming in the state began in November 2013.

Revenue from the state’s iGaming sites, run by Delaware Park, Dover Downs and Harrington Raceway, was $108,692 in June, a 19 percent drop from May. Net income was $30,675, a 21.8 percent decrease from $39,245 in May. However, the income figure was a 19.8 percent gain over June 2014.

The $108,692 revenue figure is substantially loe2r than the state’s average revenue over the past several months, which has hovered around $160,000. This was despite having signed an interstate liquidity agreement with Nevada for online poker.
