Delaware iGaming Rebounds

The online gaming industry in Delaware is rebounding from a slow 2015, with revenues for both January and February up over the same months last year.

Delaware’s online gaming industry has begun 2016 with two consecutive months of year-on-year revenue increases, mirroring the increase in iGaming posted in New Jersey over the past few months.

According to numbers released by the Delaware Lottery, online gaming revenue this January was $190,829.29, compared to the $132,074.84 in January 2015. February, which had an extra day this year, produced $229,789.82 in revenue, up from February 2015’s $143,101.39.

The February revenue this year was the most since April 2014’s $240,762.63. It was also just the third time since the state’s online gaming industry launched in 2013 that iGaming win broke $200,000.

Delaware’s online gaming industry won roughly $1.8 million off of gamblers in 2015, down from more than $2 million won in 2014.
