Delaware Sees Online Gambling Revenue Increase

Delaware’s online gambling revenue rose to $240,000 in April, up about $35,000 from March. Online poker revenue, however, decreased by about $10,000.

Delaware saw an increase in online gambling revenue in April, but figures for online poker slid.

According to the Delaware Lottery, the three gaming sites in the state made just over $240,000 in April, compared to $206,833.42 taken in during the month of March. Delaware Park took in 180,900.37, Dover Downs took in $48,553.31, and Harrington Raceway took in just $11,042.36.

Online poker took in $74,078.01m down from $84,391 in March. Delaware has signed an interstate agreement to share poker players with Nevada—where online poker is also legal—and officials hope that will increase online play in the states when it goes into effect.

Delaware is considered a small player in U.S. online gaming due to its small population, but has shown increases in revenue every month since online gaming was launched in November.
